Looks like you may soon be able to wrap your feet in Nike Air Jordans made specifically
for golf, if a tweeted photo from Michael Jordan’s son is any indication.
Michael Jordan’s Nike Air Jordan golf shoes have not done a whole lot for Keegan Bradley’s won-lost record,
but they sure are attentiongrabbing, as His Airness’ son, Marcus, proved when he took to social media on Thursday
of the kicks.
The response to Marcus’ tweeted photo of the shoe, in Tiger Woods Sunday signature red and black, was
overwhelming, with NBA player and noted golf enthusiast J.R. Smith responding about his immediate need for
the high-tops.
Bradley has sported Nike’s Jumpman golf spikes, an Air Jordan model, for some time. And though the
New England native is a big booster of all things Boston athletics, he’s also a fan of the guy for
whom his foot gear is named.Bradley, by the way, is in the field this week at the HP Byron Nelson Championship
in Irving, Texas, site of the 2011 PGA champ’s first victory that same season. After two rounds in the 2014 edition,
the three-time PGA Tour winner was at 2-under -- just four shots back of a handful of players in at 6-under early in
Friday’s second round. For the record, Bradley has been covering his feet with Jordans since las
year, but has notnotched a W for almost two years (2012 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational).
