Nike NSW take the Air Max 2013 silhouette and give it a Moire treatment for this Air Max Motion “White Label” pack.
A lot of heads have been badmouthing the Air Max 2013,
mainly due to its attention seeking AIR MAX branding on the heel. To
sum up the comments, it’s just not easy on the eye. With this Air Max
Motion, Nike take the smooth stylings of the Air Zoom Moire and apply
it to the silhouette of the Air MAx 2013, creating a much more attractive alternative.
The perforated upper of this model is killer, bringing back memories of the Moire and the better Air Max 90 Currents (also Moire inspired), working wonderfully with the space age appeal of the giant bubble that is the Air Max 2013
sole unit. Contrast FlyWire is put to good use and compliments the
visual textures of the perforated leather. The soft leather lining and
thick heel tab finish off this sneaker with an element of class, while
the embroidered oval surrounding the NSW tongue branding brings back
memories of 1993 era Air Max branding.
This new model is essentially an Air Max 2013
Moire or Current, but we’ll allow Nike to step away from the 2013 in
the name. Air Max Motion rolls off the tongue a little easier anyway.
The sneaker comes in two minimal colourways, following the recent
format of NSW
footwear drops with one in black, accented with hits of Photo Blue and
one almost entirely Photo Blue, much like the recent drop of Inneva
Wovens.
With premium materials comes a (very) premium price tag and you can grab a pair of these from jordanretro.cc for $88 if you’re quick.
